Joanne joined HealthSouth of Texarkana in 2001. She has more than 15 years of health care experience with a strong focus on quality standards of care and compliance. She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Kinesiology and secondary emphasis on Health Education and Communications. As the CEO she strives to provide the residents of Texarkana and surrounding communities with quality rehab care and that all patients receive the highest level of comfort, respect and professionalism from staff when receiving care and services. Her goal as the CEO is to be a "servant leader" coaching and mentoring employees so they have every opportunity to be successful in their jobs. She is the champion for employee enhancement and growth to ensure all are recognized, rewarded and valued and provided every every opportunity to benefit from HealthSouth's continuing education and career advancement programs. |

| Dr. Wren has been affiliated with HealthSouth of Texarkana since 1996. He is a board-certified physiatrist. His level of expertise is exceptional. He trained in one of the Top 10 medical schools in the U.S., and has an additional graduate medical degree in public health. He was trained under the most knowledgeable stroke rehab specialists in the world. Dr. Wren has followed patients at this hospital for more than 10 years and served as the hospital’s associate medical director for four years prior to becoming the medical director. |

| Carla has more than 10 years nursing and management experience in both acute and rehabilitation hospital settings. She is a strong leader with high standards for quality nursing care and for creating a consistent culture of excellence at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Texarkana. She strives to to increase both patient and employee satisfaction through evidence based best practices and by stressing teamwork, respect, integrity, generosity and learning. |

| Barbara Cannedy was named director of therapy operations in January, 2010, after serving as lead senior physical therapist at HealthSouth. She received her bachelor of science in Physical Therapy from Southwestern Medical Center School of Allied Health in Dallas, Texas, and has a bachelors degree in Elementary Education with a Special Education endorsement. Cannedy has worked as a physical therapist with home health agencies and other outpatient services, as well as having specialized Neuro-IFRAH and Nerve Conduction Study training. |

| Doni is an experienced nurse with an enthusiastic and positive outlook on life. She is a staunch patient advocate that believes strongly in the value of rehabilitation to maintain and improve quality of life for all patients. She is eager to educate the medical community as well as the general public on the benefits of rehabilitation. |

| Whatley joined the HealthSouth Texarkana team in 2009 and brings more than 19 years of financial experience to her role as chief financial officer. She has been a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) for 15 years, with 10 years in healthcare and more than 9 years in management. Whatley is excited to be in the rehabilitation sector and looks forward to watching patients leave HealthSouth with improved quality of life. |

| Ann holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas and has a diverse background in manufacturing, transportation and health care. She has held various management positions since 2002, with a focus on human resource management and development. Ann has a very personable style of management with an “open door” policy for all employees. |
